The apostle Peter writes,
“Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.” 1 Peter 2:11,12
Peter here reminds us that we are aliens in this world. As such we need to live good lives. We as Christians have no right to judge others outside of our faith.
We however must live lives that glorify God in the country in which we live. Glorify God in word and in deed so that even those who accuse us of doing wrong, as Peter puts it, “May see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us”
