God did not
In the gospel of John we read Jesus speaking of himself saying,
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:16,17.
I think quite often this is an overlooked portion of scripture. We hear from many quarters that God will one day judge the world, and He will. All people will be held accountable for their actions and be Judged by God. But that was not why Jesus came.
Jesus came not to condemn the world but to save the world. To save all who would believe in Him.
It is very clear cut. Believe in Jesus and you will not perish but have everlasting life.
