How to get to heaven, the Christian belief
In the book of Ephesians we read,
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9.
This is what Christians believe. It is by the grace of God, by having faith in Him that we get to heaven.
In the book of Hebrews we read the definition of faith it states,
"Now faith is being sure of what we hope for
and certain of what we do not see."
The writer of Hebrews goes on to say.
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6.
Ultimately it is up to the individual whether they believe what is said.
But consider what Blaise Pascal wrote,
“Belief is a wise wager. Granted that faith cannot be proved, what harm will come to you if you gamble on its truth and it proves false? If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation, that He exists. Blaise Pascal.
