Planted by the water
The Psalmist writes,
"Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers." Psalm 1:1-3.
As Christians we need to take a close look at our lives. Are we living a life God would be please with or not?
Dear reader do you “delight in the law of the LORD?”
Do you live good lives?
The apostle Peter tells us,
"Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us." 1 Peter 2:11,12
If you consider yourself a Christian, a believer in Christ Jesus are you truly doing this?
