The Duty of the Church

The duty of the Church
Jesus said,
"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."Matthew 28:18-20.
This is the duty of the Church.
Lately with this pandemic in full flight there has been a lot of speculation about the coming of Christ in Christian circles. The same thing happened among Christians at the outbreak of world war two with the rise of Hitler. Many thought Hitler the anti-christ.
That being said, it is not the duty of the church to speculate on when Christ will return. The duty of the church is to make disciples of all nations and to teach them all to obey all that Jesus taught.
Thus believers in Christ Jesus should be working to win souls for Christ as if He is coming before the end of the day. AND! We should be doing this each and every day until Christ does return.
Please think about it.
