What the apostle Paul believed

 What the Apostle Paul believed

The Apostle Paul writes,

“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.”

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,  for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” Romans 10:9-13.

The apostle Paul leaves nothing to doubt about how he believes we get to heaven. He states, if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved.

Paul does not believe we are saved by works. He believes we are saved by faith. Salvation being a gift from God. Paul notes,

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—  not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9.

Thus my question to you, Do you believe Jesus is Lord, the Saviour of mankind?

Please think about it.
