Your light
Jesus said,
"In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16.
The apostle Peter wrote,
"Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul.
Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us." 1 Peter 2:11,12.
Francis of Assisi wrote,
"The deeds you do
may be the only sermon some persons will hear today"
Francis of Assisi.
What is your sermon telling those around your. If you claim to be a Christian. A follower of Christ Jesus. Is your light shining and leading people to Christ. OR are your words and deeds turning people away from the love of Christ?
It’s a simple yes or no answer. Your words and deeds are either leading a person to Christ or turning them away from Christ.
Please think about it.
