God will Judge
The apostle Paul writes,
“I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.
My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.
Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.” 1 Corinthians 4:3-5
The apostle Paul states,
“I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.”
Here Paul notes he has a clear conscience. However he also notes that, that does not make him innocent.
We are all imperfect we all fall short of what God would want us to do. However it is not the job of a Christian to judge anyone especially those outside the church. That is God’s job. The American Evangelist Billy Graham said,
“What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.” 1 Corinthians 5:12,13.
When it comes to judging Christians have limited rights. We have the right to judge those inside the church but only with respect to the message that is being spoken by the individual. In order to make sure it is in line with the message of Christ.
We have no right to judge whether a person is going to heaven or not. That is God’s job.
Paul tells Christians
“Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men’s hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.”
The Writer of Ecclesiastes states,
“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.”Ecclesiastes 12:13,14.
God will ultimately judge us all. For there are only two persons who know what is in the heart of the individual. The individual themselves, and God. No one else.
Thus the question becomes. “When you stand before God what will he say about you?
Please think about it.
