Every Day

Every day
The apostle Peter states,
“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.”2 Peter 2:1-3.

The other day I found a couple of interesting quotes. One from Lenny Bruce said,
“Every day people are straying away from the church
and going back to God. Really.”
                                      Lenny Bruce, "Religions Inc."
The other is from an unknown author it states,
I believe in God; I just don't trust anyone who works for him.”
                                                                               Author Unknown
I have met many people who truly believe in God but are turned off by the people who supposedly serve Him. It’s sad but there are many claiming to be Christians who are not. Jesus said,
“Many will say to me  on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’
Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Matthew 7:22,23.
As Christians, believers in Christ Jesus, I believe we must be careful to present the gospel of Christ in the way He would want us to do so. That being in a nonjudgmental, loving way.
We have no right to judge another human being, especially when it comes to where they will spend eternity.
We do have the right to judge anyone who claims to be a Christian but only with respect to the doctrine they are teaching. The apostle Paul said,
“What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?  God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.” 1 Corinthians 5:12,13.
Christians need to remember this. Do you remember this when you interact with others?
Please think about it.
