A Crown
The Prophet Isaiah states,
"With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
And will say in that day:
Give thanks to the Lord call upon his name,
make known his deeds among the peoples,
proclaim that his name is exalted."
Isaiah 12:3,4.
One of the things I’m thankful for is my salvation. That’s why I write these Blogs. I want to tell people about Jesus.
I am eternally thankful that Jesus is in my life. Apart from my salvation Jesus gives me hope, and purpose in this life.
The apostle Paul seeing the end of his life coming wrote,
"For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:6-8.
Question: Is there a crown of righteousness waiting for you when you leave this life?
If you are a true believer in Christ Jesus then there is.
If on the other hand you don’t know, I would suggest that you read at least the New Testament and learn about Jesus and the Salvation he offers you.
Please think about it.
