Who is your Rock?

  Who is your Rock?

                 The Psalmist writes,

“For God alone my soul waits in silence;

from him comes my salvation.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, 

my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.”

                                                                       Psalm 62:1,2 (ESV).

Do you take time just to be quiet and seek God’s will?

Is God truly your rock and salvation?

Is God your fortress?

When trouble strikes where do you go for help?

Is your faith built on the Rock?

Jesus told this parable,

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.  

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.  

But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.  

The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." Matthew 24-27.

Do you put the teachings of Jesus into practice?
