What do they see in you?
The apostle Paul wrote,
“All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20.
Paul writing to the Romans wrote,
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.
Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:6-8.
Teresa of Ávila states:
"Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours; yours are the eyes through which to look at Christ's compassion to the world, yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good, and yours are the hands with which he is to bless us now." Mother Teresa of Avila.
As believers in Christ Jesus we are ambassadors for Christ. We represent Christ in this world. It is through our words and deeds that the world sees Christ.
Question: When someone sees your life and lifestyle what does it tell them about Christ Jesus?
Please think about it.
