In the book of Romans we read,
"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
Are you doing your best to live at peace with those around you?
Are you doing your best to love those around you, family friend or foe?
Jesus when asked,
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?"
Jesus replied: " ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
This is the first and greatest commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.'
All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. Matthew 22:36-40.
Are you doing this?
We will never win a person for Christ if we don’t show them love.
The late American civil rights leader Martin Luther King jr. said,
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King, Jr.
So I ask you again are you loving those around you?
