Serve one another in Love.
The apostle Paul writes,
“...serve one another in love."
Galatians 5:13b
If you consider yourself a Christian, are you serving your brothers and sisters in Christ in love?
Are the church leaders you support or follow truly serving in love?
If someone from outside your church community looked at you, your pastor, or those you support, would they say they are serving in love?
Sadly there are many from outside the church that would say love is lacking among Christians.
It’s time for those calling themselves Christians to realize this and do more to show unconditional love, to family, friend, and foe.
Francis of Assisi wrote a wonderful prayer I think all who call themselves Christians should pray in all sincerity. He wrote,
"Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."
Francis of Assisi.
Pleases think about it.
