He has set a day

  He has set a day

In the book of Acts we read the apostle Paul speaking about Jesus as saying,

"In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent.

For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead." Acts 17:30,31.

Billy Graham the late American evangelist once said,

The Bible says today is the accepted time, today is the day of salvation...

But there will come a time when it will be too late for you.

                                                                                  Billy Graham.

Whether you believe the Bible or not, is your choice but my advice to you would be make sure you are truly certain that you are right.

Blaise Pascal wrote,

“Belief is a wise wager. Granted that faith cannot be proved, what harm will come to you if you gamble on its truth and it proves false? If you gain, you gain all; if you lose, you lose nothing. Wager, then, without hesitation, that He exists.” Blaise Pascal.

Please think about it.

Peace the Only Way

Peace the only way

The apostle Paul wrote,

"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you,

live at peace with everyone."

                                                           Romans 12:18.

Do you live at peace with those around you?

Here in North America where I live. I find many calling themselves Christians do not live at peace with those around them. Quite often they don’t look at the consequences of their words and deeds.

They do what Jesus told us not to do. They judge those around them.

Jesus said,

"Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1,2.

As Christians. Believers in Christ Jesus we need to choose our words wisely. Coming out and telling someone they are going to hell if they don’t believe in Jesus, may be technically true but more often than not it pushes people away from God.

Where a person spends eternity is not the call of anyone living on this earth. It’s Gods call.

We as believers in Christ Jesus have a duty to present the gospel message. A duty where possible to sit down with non-believers and tell them what they believe. Then let the Holy Spirit work in their lives. Let the person we presented the Gospel message to decide for themselves if what we are saying is true.

The only way we can do this. At least the easiest way to do this is if we are living at peace with those around us.

Are you living at peace with those around you?

Please think about it.
