Do not Judge

Do not Judge

“Do not judge, or you too will be judged.
For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
            Matthew 7:1,2
“What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”
                                                         1 Corinthians 5:12,13
Here is a simple Christian truth. Christians are only allowed to judge those who call themselves Christians. We are allowed to judge them because they claim to be proclaiming the word of God.
Those outside the church should be of no concern to the Christian with respect to judgement.
As Christians our job is to reach out to the world in love not judge them. We are to present the salvation message of Jesus Christ. Jesus makes it clear when he said,
“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
                                                         Matthew 28:18-20.
The apostle Paul writing to the Corinthians said,
“What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside?
God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked man from among you.”
                                                            1 Corinthians 5:12,13.
Put simply Christians are to keep our own house in order. We are to remove from the body of believers those who are not following the teachings of Christ.
The apostle Paul writing to Timothy said,
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.”
2Timothy 4:3,4
Paul also said,
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God"
                                                                                                                                        2 Timothy 3:1-4
These are the people within our church congregations, denominations and in the media we need to watch out for. We need to expel them from among us.
Please think about it.
