Worship the Lord
The Psalmist writes,
Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people,
the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
Psalm 100
If you consider yourself a Christian a true believer in Christ Jesus can you in all honesty praise God in the way the Psalmist does here in Psalm 100?
Sadly in our 24/7 world we quite often fail to take time to praise and worship God.
At the same time I believe many especially here in North America where I live look at the Covid crisis and wonder why they should praise God. Covid sadly for many in the church has challenged their faith.
That being said I read daily of persecuted Christians around the world in far worse situations than we live here in North America praising God for being there for them in very difficult circumstances.
So here’s an idea. First pray for those believers in Christ Jesus who are in prison or under persecution around the world.
Then take time to praise God not just for all you have, but for simply being God. A God who is worthy of all praise.
