Who is Jesus?

Who is Jesus?
C. S. Lewis speaking about God said,
“He shows much more of Himself to some people than to others-not because He has favourites, but because it is impossible for Him to show Himself to a man whose whole mind and character are in the wrong condition.”  C.S. Lewis.
There are many out there in the world who say “why doses God not show Himself to me. If he did I’d believe in Him.”
When anyone says that I quite often think they quiet often have already made up their minds. They don’t believe God exists.
When Jesus was crucified there were many who didn’t believe He was the Son of God. Even though He had performed miracles and wonders. Miracles and wonders that were well known around the area.
Luke’s gospel records this incident that happened at Christ’s crucifixion.
“The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One.”
The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar  and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”  Luke 23:35-37.
Paul writing to the Corinthians explains
“Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,  but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”  1 Corinthians 1:22-24.
I firmly believe that it doesn’t matter how much proof a Christian offers regarding Jesus and God either from inside the Bible or from outside, people will not believe. They have simply made up their minds and nothing will change it.
In the parable of Lazarus and the rich man told by Jesus there is this point made.
“He (the rich man) answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father’s house,  for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’
“Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
“ ‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
“He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’ ” Luke 16:27-31.
Well some one did rise from the dead His name was Jesus and He speaking of himself said,
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son”. John 3:16-18.
Thus the decision is up to you. Jesus said to Martha,
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;  and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
“Yes Lord” she told Him, “I believe you are the Christ the Son of God, who was to come into the world,” John 11:25,26
Do you believe in God? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God the Saviour of mankind?
Please think about it.
