May the name of The Lord be praised

 May the name of the Lord be praised.

In the book of Job we read,

"The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; 

may the name of the Lord be praised."

                                                                    Job 1:21

Job went through many hardships. Hardships that included the loss of his family and possessions. Yet through it all Job praised God. He remembered just who was in control.

I wonder how many people who call themselves Christians in the North American church today could praise God if they went through what Job went through?
