What are you telling others

  What are you telling others?

The apostle Paul writes,

“Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12.

When people see you do they see these characteristics in your life?

Paul notes in his letter to the Galatians,

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Galatians 5:22,23.

I don’t think that you can truly call yourself a Christian, a believer in Christ Jesus if these attributes are not being exhibited in your life.

Paul writing to the Ephesians stated,

"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" Ephesians 2:10.

Are you doing good works?

Francis of Assisi tells us,

"The deeds you do

may be the only sermon some persons will hear today"

                                                                             Francis of Assisi.

So what is your sermon telling others?

Please think about it.
